Sailing Arabia The Tour regatta will be held in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah

The Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah for the second time hosted the Sailing Arabia The Tour Sailing Regatta. Yachts from six countries - the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and France, participating in the 1.4 thousand km race, which started from Anwaj Marina in Bahrain on February 12, ended in Ras Al Khaimah and ended in 15 days at The Wave Bay in the capital of Oman.

The race takes place in five stages with stops at the ports of Doha, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, as well as in Musandam and Mussan in Oman. The organizer of the regatta is Oman Sail in collaboration with the local authorities of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Its implementation is aimed at strengthening cooperation among the GCC countries.

According to the organizers, the current race was to be an excellent winter alternative for similar events that are held in Europe in the warm season. World champions in this sport took part in it, including the female crew. The key sponsor of the event was one of the largest cruise agencies in the Middle East - Eden Yachting.
