Enrico, what is so unique about the new Ferrari men's perfume?
By the fact that we compiled their composition on the basis of the most interesting, rare and valuable material in the world of perfumery - oud. Oud-based aromas have traditionally been used in the East, and we decided to transform oud into the modern Ferrari Essence Oud formula, which would be in demand by men around the world. We got the low-suspension perfume, filled with the deep meaning and power inherent in the engine of a sports Ferrari. Exclusive dark red metallic in the color of the bottle, which we named Rosso Maranello and applied in three layers, emphasizes the luxury and character of the new fragrance. The bottle, with its outlines, resembles the body of a racing car and is crowned with a lid trimmed with high-quality, hand-sewn red leather, like on a Ferrari transmission handle.
What, in addition to the essence of oud, characterizes the new fragrance?
In the perfumery composition we used oud from Southeast Asia, it is less heavy. In the heart of the aroma are resin, light spicy notes of olibanum and cumin, an unexpected rose chord, accompanied by exotic saffron and elemi. Deep, exciting base notes are revealed by labdanum and genuine leather. In general, an original fusion of the legendary traditions of the East with the modern aspirations of the West is obtained.
