Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, the first institution of its kind in the Middle East, will open in the emirate in 2018. The creation of a university is part of the efforts of the emirate government to promote local talents.
Studies show that the need for Middle East designers will be 30 thousand specialists by 2019. Students will study undergraduate programs in professions such as branding and product creation, strategic design management, media, visual arts and fashion technology.
