Abu Dhabi to host date festival in November

The annual dates festival will be held from November 21 to 26 in the five pavilions of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). The date festival will be organized by the authorities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.

More than 200 participants from 17 states: Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Morocco, Oman and others, will take part in the event. The dates presented by them will be presented in 5 pavilions of the exhibition center with a total area of ​​more than 6000 square meters. meters.

Muhammad Jalal Al Rezia, chairman of the festival’s organizing committee, commented: “We plan to attract the interest of not only professionals in the catering industry, but also the general public. The date festival is a unique opportunity to learn more about this field and the food industry as a whole.”

Within the framework of the festival, special events will be held for children, where they will be able to learn more about such a healthy and tasty product as dates.
