REFLETS - Pierre Gagnier Gourmet Restaurant

The InterContinental Dubai Festival City recently opened a gourmet restaurant featuring world-famous French chef Pierre Gagnier. >> Having received a very sonorous and characteristic, as it seemed to us, name Reflets, which means “reflection” in French, this restaurant perfectly reflects Pierre’s desire to make every dish a true masterpiece of culinary art. In addition, the word reflection also has a direct meaning - the interior of Reflets is filled with a huge number of mirror panels from floor to ceiling, which, somewhat distorting the space, fill the room with light and create the feeling that you are in the looking glass. By the way, the word "fusion" is more suitable for determining the style of the interior, since replicas on the theme of classic Baroque crystal chandeliers here can be boldly combined with modern cabins for family dinners and "a la Louis XIV style" chairs.

The dishes served in Reflets seem impossible to describe in words. Although "fusion" is probably suitable. Here you can be served onion soufflé and tender veal in snail sauce, miniature bread rolls with five kinds of butter and all kinds of dip, fish cooked with aromatic herbs and served with mushroom risotto with squid, tiny meringues and ice cream diced with pastila , marzipan, fresh berries and something else that is difficult to recognize in taste, with some incredible sauce. When serving dishes, absolutely stunning waiters, up to the ingredient, list everything from which a dish is prepared. Add to this the services of a professional sommelier who flew to work in Reflets specially from France, who will advise a taste-enhancing wine for every meal, and you’ll understand why the chef Pierre Gagne is the owner of six Michelin Stars, which do not appear among restaurateurs for no reason. It is hoped that the Dubai Reflets will be the most "star" of all Pierre's restaurants.

Want to understand what taste shades and combinations really are?

Go, as they used to say, "to Pierre", who, by the way, arriving in Dubai, cooks himself in the kitchen and is sure to go out to the guests in the dining room to ask if everything is fine. The restaurant has a bar serving excellent drinks and signature cocktails. As for the average bill, it will be at the level of 1500 - 1900 drx for dinner (the restaurant is open only in the evening). Expensive, but worth it to feel the difference between just a kitchen and a kitchen from Pierre Gagne.

Reservations are required. Phone number 04 701 1128.
