In Dubai, a foreigner dies during a motorcycle race

An amateur racer was killed in a crash at the UAE Road Racing Championship held in Dubai.

During a motorcycle championship in the UAE, held at the Motorcity race track in Dubai, driver Federico Fratelli died last Saturday. Expat worked as a financial specialist and loved motorcycles.

This was his first participation in a racing championship in the country. In the first race that day, he took third place, only two places behind the three-time champion Mahmoud Tannir. During the second race, a disaster occurred due to faulty brakes - Fratelli lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

The race was immediately stopped, and Fratelli was sent to the nearest hospital. Later in the evening, his comrades announced on social networks the death of the rider.

Shortly before the fateful arrival, the Khaleej Times spoke with Federico Fratelli, and he spoke about his love of racing.

"In the afternoon, I'm a financial specialist, but the race is my passion," he said.
