Sheikh Mohammed allocated six million dirhams to school libraries in the UAE

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed ordered to allocate 6 million dirhams for the purchase of educational books in the school libraries of the country.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the UAE, allocated 6 million dirhams for the purchase of books, reference books and teaching materials at the International Book Fair 2018 in Abu Dhabi for the country's school libraries.

This step is aimed at instilling a love of reading among young people and developing a sense of the value of books. This measure will help educate a generation capable of continuing the sustainable development of the state, laid down by its founding fathers.

Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education of the UAE, praised the noble gesture of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, who spares no effort in creating a knowledge-based environment that enables students to develop intellectual capital.

"The book fair in Abu Dhabi is a wonderful cultural site that enjoys great attention from the wise leadership of the UAE," said the Minister, speaking about the patronage of the event by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, as an important step for disseminating knowledge and stimulating cooperation between book publishers .
