The Emirate created a fragrance for the Year of Zayed, celebrated in the United Arab Emirates.
The owner of a perfume shop in the UAE created a unique perfume in honor of the Year of Zayed. It is based on the scents used by the late Sheikh Zayed himself.
Saleh Al Hammadi, owner of Perfume Bay, began work on this perfume when he learned that 2018 will be the Year of Zayed.
“I had to do a lot of research, learn about the aromas that he used, and also talk with people who worked with him to get as close to that smell,” he added.
Al Hammadi noted that the perfume is in great demand, despite the fact that it has been on sale for only three months. According to him, stores from the UK and the USA are actively interested in these spirits.
Al Hammadi has been doing perfume for 15 years. He wants the Arabian fragrance to be recognized internationally once.
“Compared to the period I started, the market for Arab perfumes and local fragrances has definitely grown,” says Al Hammadi, “Now there is even demand from abroad, and foreign perfume manufacturers brand their fragrances for the Persian Gulf market. Previously it wasn’t so common, and now there’s a niche market for that. "
