Emirates and flydubai from UAE now have one loyalty program for all passengers

The loyalty program of Emirates from the United Arab Emirates extends to the flydubai program.

Starting from August of this year, Emirates Skywards loyalty program replaced the flydubai passenger program - OPEN. Recall that earlier, air carriers from the UAE joined forces in the framework of code-sharing agreements and servicing route networks. At the same time, each company has maintained independence.

Establishing a unified loyalty program allows Emirates Skywards members to earn miles by traveling on Emirates Airlines and flydubai flights. Former OPEN members can become Emirates Skywards members to continue earning miles.

“We are pleased to announce the expansion of our loyalty program, which now unites both airlines: Emirates and flydubai. This strategic initiative will provide even more benefits for program members, allow them to earn and spend miles on more destinations, and enjoy privileges on flights of both airlines "said Dr. Nejib Ben Headher, senior vice president of Emirates Skywards.

Since August, Emirates Skywards members have begun receiving Skywards Miles and Tier Miles on all flydubai flights. Members can also spend Skywards miles on booking flydubai flights (with FZ code), as well as pay for additional services such as meals pre-ordered for on board and extra legroom.

Emirates Skywards members can use the calculator on the Emirates website to check how many miles they earn on a particular flight.

When traveling with flydubai, Emirates Skywards Silver, Gold and Platinum members can enjoy benefits regardless of class of service, including priority check-in at flydubai racks and special baggage conditions.

New Emirates Skywards members also receive a first flight bonus for Emirates or flydubai flights for six months.

The Skywards program is constantly evolving and provides members with more and more opportunities to earn miles and enjoy privileges on a large number of flights, as well as goods and services for recreation and travel from partner companies. The recently launched My Family service simplifies the process of accumulating and managing miles.
