The airline from the UAE will provide passengers with the highest resolution screens

4K screens appear on Boeing airlines from the United Arab Emirates.

UAE Emirates Boeing 777X passengers will be able to watch 4K TV shows and movies since 2020, Patrick Brannelly, vice president of customer service, entertainment and communications products on board, told the media.

According to him, “high-quality 4K screens” will appear on airplanes in about 14 months.

The installation of new screens is part of an agreement concluded in 2016 with the French company Thales to equip the Emirates fleet with an entertainment system. In 2017, as part of an additional agreement, the French company agreed to equip the 777X fleet with broadband at a speed of 50 megabits per second.
