In Marrakech, the presentation of the new Dior collection was held, demonstrating the cultural diversity of the planet.
At the end of April, Dior spent an unusual evening dedicated to the strong friendship of the French house with artists and artisans, as well as the rich cultural diversity of our planet. For the first time, Dior organized a presentation of the cruise collection in Marrakesh, where Europe meets Africa.
For this show, Dior art director Maria Grazia Curie worked closely with Anna Grossfilli, a world-renowned wax specialist, and Uniwax in Côte d'Ivoire, which rethought House's two signature motifs: toile de jouy and tarot cards.
According to the collection's design, designer Grace Wales Bonner and artist Mikalein Thomas presented new versions of traditional Dior details in a bold creative rethinking.
