The gondola road will connect the mainland and the Mir archipelago

The Austrian company Doppelmayer Cable Car has made calculations and proposes to build a gondola road connecting the group of islands of the Heart of Europe project, located 4 km from the coast, with the coast. Such a road will cost less than a bridge and will become a tourist attraction. Currently, there are two possibilities to reach the islands - by water using official ferries, water taxis, private boats and yachts, or by air by helicopter. The issue of building a jetty for hydroplanes is being discussed. However, the project developer believes that it is the lack of a permanent means of communication with the mainland, such as a bridge or cable car, that will make the project more attractive for tourists and residents of Dubai. Although short, a trip by sea or air will make it more interesting, as if the tiny part of Europe has become closer to Dubai.

Most of the 300 artificial islands of the archipelago have been undeveloped since the time when the thunder of the global financial crisis hit the Dubai property market. On the island of Greenland, the estate of the ruler of Dubai was built, drowning in tropical greenery, on the other (Lebanon), a beach club was created. The remaining islands are either completely untouched, or work on them is just beginning.
