Western Union announces "Send smiles through distances" lottery winners

TWO PARTICIPANTS BECAME THE WINNERS OF THE LOTTERIES CARRIED OUT BY THE WESTERN UNION ON THE AIR OF "RUSSIAN RADIO IN THE UAE" IN DECEMBER OF THE LAST YEAR. RUSSIAN TATIAN MASHAYEHI AND DAVID BAKHSHYAN FROM TURKMENISTAN WIN AIR TICKETS TO THE HOMELAND AND BACK.

The lottery was held in support of the seasonal campaign "Send smiles through distances." The students had to answer one simple question: "How would you improve someone's day in just 25 dirhams?"

Tatiana replied: “I would send money to my father through Western Union and pay fees of 25 dirhams.” Her parents celebrated the 35th wedding anniversary, and she wanted her father to give her mother a bouquet of 35 huge roses on this holiday.

In turn, David replied: "The easiest way is to spend this amount on charity, because it will bring joy and give smiles to those who are not very lucky in life, and help them believe in the best." Jean Claude Farah, Senior Vice President of Western Union in the Middle East and Africa, presented the winners with plane tickets and wished them a pleasant trip.

Happy David warmly thanked the company for the opportunity to go home. The delighted Tatyana also added: “I always send and receive money through Western Union. I am very pleased with their services and attitude towards customers. I am very excited to be going home. Thank you, Western Union.”
