The main attention when creating graduation collections by students was paid to elements of Arabic calligraphy, cybernetics, Islamic architecture and cabaret. In total, the new fashion professionals have touched and reflected in their creations 20 different thematic areas. The outstanding creations of students of the third edition of the French fashion school were presented separately. For them, graduates received special prizes from the jury.
It should be noted that the jury this year included: Satoru Ninu, president of Esmod International Group, who also became president of the jury, Rami Al Ali, fashion designer Rami Al Ali Couture, Tarik Edris, chairman of Unique Creative Production, and Isabelle De Castilla , representative of YSMAY International.
According to Tamara Hostal, director and founder of Esmod Dubai, the next three-year course will begin on September 25, 2011. It includes subjects such as fashion design and modeling techniques, manufacturing patterns and drapery, the science of textiles and textile craft, sewing clothes, haute couture modeling, “new” haute couture, ready-to-wear, work with Adobe Photoshop programs and Illustrator, and more. In addition, for the first time in the history of Esmod Dubai this year, the school begins a new 4-week perfume training course. During it, students will learn how to create new perfume fragrances, test and learn the possibilities of their sense of smell, learn the “language” of fragrances, get acquainted with the basics of creating perfumes and much more.
