UAE canceled "children's" visa fees

UAE canceled visa fees for tourists under the age of 18 years.

Dubai, UAE. Tourists under the age of 18 years traveling in the UAE are exempted from visa fees for the period from July 15 to September 15. The relevant decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates in order to maintain tourist demand in the hot summer period.

It is worth recalling that earlier the UAE allowed transit passengers to stay in the country for free for 48 hours, and those who want to stay for 96 hours need to pay only 50 dirhams (US $ 13). For transit tourists at airports, express border control points were also opened.

In the first quarter of this year, the UAE's international air harbors served 32.8 million passengers. The volume of the country's hospitality sector today is estimated at 150 billion dirhams (US $ 41 billion). UAE travel companies took government initiatives enthusiastically.
