The 50th Hilton Hotel opens in the United Arab Emirates.
Hotel giant Hilton has announced the upcoming launch of its 50th project in the UAE. It will be one of two new hotels in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah - DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Corniche Residences and Conrad Marjan Island Resort.
Al-Marjan Island, where the resort will be located, is a group of four artificial islands west of Ras Al Khaimah, and DoubleTree by Hilton will be located in the Corniche area.
"Ras Al Khaimah is a fast-growing and popular destination. The number of international visitors here has grown by 11.2 percent in the first nine months of 2018 and is expected to reach the first million people in the emirate’s history this year," said Carlos Heineher. Hilton Vice President of Development, Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
"Hilton has been present in Ras Al Khaimah for over 15 years, and we are pleased to introduce the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand here and open the DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Corniche Residences," he added.
Conrad Marjan Island Resort offers 120 rooms and villas, as well as a fitness center, salon, spa, outdoor pool and kids club. The hotel also has two restaurants, a poolside bar and a beach bar.
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport accepts direct flights from a growing number of countries, including Poland, Russia, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic.
